Gymnastics - Mock Meet - 081310
Riverside hosted its first "mock meet" on Friday, August 13th. We invited a team from Beaverton to come down. Sydney got 2nd Overall, 1st on Floor, 3rd on Vault, 3rd on Beam, and 2nd on Bars. It was her best overall score so far, but she was disappointed. Competition season starts up in 2 weeks and she will have 6 meets in the fall and 6 meets in the spring. She's been practicing with the Level 5 girls, too, so she might be moving up next spring.

First on floor? Fantastic! I am so proud of her and how well she is doing. All those seconds and thirds are also amazing and fantastic and special. She must be working very hard and have lots of talent.
